Before we can begin this process, we must obtain the helper applications (in some cases, the source code) for all of the required packages used to talk to your Bluetooth hardware and connect that to your Palm.
Building and installing the various BlueZ packages is easy. Just download each of the packages (there should be a minimum of 5 of them), and unpack them into a temporary build directory, configure (NEVER configure or build software as root), build, su to root, and install them.
Instructions for building these packages from source is out of the scope of this HOWTO. You can find those kinds of instructions on the BlueZ project page or the BlueZ mailing lists if you run into trouble.
