2.1. pilot-link

pilot-link is a suite of tools, libraries, and external language bindings that allow you to synchronize your Palm handheld with your Linux, Unix, or POSIX desktop/server machine. It includes "conduits" that are used to manipulate, query, and manage the information in the various Palm databases and applications on the Palm handheld.

To download pilot-link from cvs, you can check out the code "anonymously" (without a recognized username), using the following command. Please note the extra colon ':' character after the 'anonymous' name there. This is required to skip prompting for a blank password.

Make sure you are checking out the source code into an empty directory before you proceed. If you have an existing source code directory (perhaps from a previous checkout?), this will clobber it. Be careful.

If the command below prompts you for a password, simply hit the Enter key as the password (i.e. there is no password, just hit Enter).
